Introduction:
Please use this guide if you want to view a subscription or customer account portal from a specific customer’s perspective.
Prerequisites:
- Make sure you have the admin portal open on Smartrr for the specific merchant.
- Open up this Loom video if you need a visual walkthrough.
Steps:
- (On merchant’s site) Create an account on the merchant’s site using YOUR Smartrr credentials (e.g. michelle@smartrr.com).
- (Merchant’s site) Log out of the account you made.

(On our Admin portal) Click on
Customerson the lefthand navigation bar. - (Admin portal) Enter a specific customer’s id or email using the filter search. Alternatively, you can click on the customer ids displayed on the front page.

(Admin portal) On the right, there should be a couple of options. Click on
View portal as customer, and this should open another tab with the merchant’s site. - (Merchant’s site) Login with your OWN Smartrr credentials (remember the account you made in step 1?), and you should be redirected to the customer’s view.
Conclusion:
Now you should be able to view the customer account portals on the merchant sites!
