One common issue is the need to update a customer's email address or merge two Shopify accounts. In this guide, we'll provide step-by-step instructions on how to make these adjustments.
Please note, that while it's not possible to merge two Shopify accounts into one in Smartrr, the following workaround allows you to update the email address and make necessary adjustments to the customer's account.
Prerequisites:
- Before you begin, make sure that you have Collaborative Access to the relevant Shopify accounts.
Steps:
- Go to the subscription in Smartrr and click on View in Shopify
- In the Shopify profile that the customer no longer wants to use, click on More Actions > Delete customer
- Now, go to the new requested Shopify profile with the updated email address.
- Click on
Manageand selectEdit contact information. - Update the email address to the requested one.
- Make sure to also update the email address in Smartrr to ensure the changes are reflected throughout our system.
